Welcome to the New Vanderburgh House Review
We have the perfect room and menu for your next corporate event, wedding dinner, or other special event.
The founding parents of Vanderburgh House Review envisioned an organization that would provide their sons and daughters with challenging, enjoyable, and productive work. In the same way, the current Vanderburgh House Review leadership seeks to provide a growing array of support and services that will ensure participants have appropriate opportunities for self-fulfillment while making a meaningful contribution to society. Education – We offer survivors the opportunity for long-term support with financial and job training; and act as a resource to learn more about available funding. All of this enables a survivor and their families to return to self-sufficiency in a safe environment. We also offer training to the community at-large to recognize the signs of domestic abuse and what to do when it’s seen or heard, while keeping themselves safe during the process. Vanderburgh House Review was founded in 1992 by a group of 11 families who each had a son or daughter with disabilities aging out of school-system education and daily care.
These parents wanted their children to live more fulfilling lives, but saw nothing in existence at the time that could provide such an experience. Advocacy & Justice – We provide a team of highly trained professionals who assist individuals seeking injunctions and a myriad of other legal matters. We deploy a team from the moment a call is placed for a domestic abuse situation to ensure that the survivor has the necessary support the entire way through the legal process, from start to finish. When one experiences Vanderburgh House Review, it’s as if they’re speaking to a trusted friend who makes them feel safe and believes their story. This trusted friend empowers them, provides them with the skills and knowledge needed to make the decision to leave an abusive relationship; and then provides them with the tools and opportunities to safely return to self-sufficiency.
